Last night after work I spent a couple of hours getting my face on, curling my hair and getting myself glammed up ready for a much-needed girls night.
Skin:
I had washed my hair the night before as I knew that I would want to curl it and my hair barely holds a curl as it is let alone on freshly washed hair! When I got in from work I jumped in the shower with the imperial leather marshmallow shower gel and washed my face using my herbalism facial cleanser from Lush. Once I got out of the shower I dried off and moisturised with palmers cocoa butter and sprayed the tea tree toner water from lush onto my face. I let that dry before moisturising my face with Nivea daily essentials rich moisturising day cream for dry and sensitive skin.
Makeup:
Maybelline fit me matte and poreless foundation (120) – I applied this with a sponge to my whole face as a primer.
Rimmel wake me up anti-fatigue foundation (200 – Soft beige) – I applied this over the Maybelline foundation with a brush for better coverage.
Maybelline instant anti-age eraser eye concealer (nude) – I used a small concealer brush to apply this under my eyes and on any spots.
Rimmel stay matte pressed powder (005 – silky beige) – Applied using a kabuki brush all over my face.
Rimmel Kate Moss sculpting palette (002 coral glow) – I used all three elements of this sculpting palette to contour, blush and highlight my face.
Kiko Milano eyeshadow (123) – I used this with a small angled brush to fill in my brows.
Benefit gimme brow (3) – Applied over the top of the powder eyeshadow to shape and set my eyebrows.
Kiko Milano eyeshadow (122) – Applied across my eyelid as a base.
MUA eyeshadow palette (undressed – guild) – Blended into the crease
Maybelline master precise liquid eyeliner (black)
Benefit they’re real mascara
Max factor lipstick (833 – rosewood)
Hair:
I applied Schwarzkopf tame and shine styling oil with argon oil before doing my makeup to give it time to sink in. I curled small sections of my hair with my Babyliss curling wand before setting it with Pantene style and protect hairspray.
Outfit: Bodysuit from prettylittlething.com, denim skirt from new look, fishnet tights from Primark and heeled ankle boots from Asos
