I love a good haul and so I figured I might as well share the bits that I have bought recently! I have a few things from Topshop, Primark, Superdrug and also a book!
First up in Primark I picked up quite a few bits. I got a pair of grey jogging bottoms because there’s nothing better for lounging around the house in! I also feel like I have somehow made more of an effort if I shower and put on joggers than if I just keep my pajamas on! These grey jogging bottoms were £5 and they’re so soft!
Next I picked up two bardot style body suits with a frill at the top. I got one which is plain black and one black and white striped. They were really affordable at £4 each and they’re lovely and thin so they will be great for summer. I love a pair of hoop earrings so I got a set of two gold pairs which were just £1.50 for both. One pair is shiny and one pair has a rope style pattern. I’m a bit useless when it comes to jewelry and I seem to break everything so I’m a huge fan of cheap metal.
Finally in Primark I got a pair of heeled sandals. They’re not my usual style but I really liked them and they have quite a low heel which makes a change for me. I figured they might be a bit more comfy for wearing in London when there’s a lot of walking! They were £12 and they came up quite big so I went down a size.
In Topshop, I decided to explore the sales rail and I found two pieces. Neither are my usual style but I was in a good mood so I figured I would try them on and I actually really liked them both! The first one was a pair of wide leg black trousers with white stripes. They are definitely something that I wouldn’t usually wear but because they’re high waisted, they make my legs look longer. I can’t remember exactly but I think they were reduced to around £15. I also picked up a bardot style cropped top. It’s black with tiny white polka dots and ties on the shoulders. It looks great with a high waisted skirt or jeans and again it’s quite a thin material so it will be great for summer. I think this one was on sale for £12.
Whilst I was in Sainsbury’s doing my food shopping the other day, I spotted the book ‘Sunshine at the Comfort Food Cafe.’ I tend to choose my books based on the cover and this cover drew me in. Since it was only £4 I added it to my trolley and I’m almost finished it already – it’s so good!
The final shop I went to was Superdrug where I picked up two new fake tans and a fake tanning mitt. In my monthly favourites I discussed how much I have been enjoying fake tanning now we’re moving into summer and when I went online to find the link, I noticed that they had changed their packaging. The new packaging was beautiful and I had to go an pick up a new bottle of tan anyway since I was running out and whilst I was in there, I grabbed a bottle of the glow lotion which smells insane and is great for highlighting your fake tan.
Where’s your top place for sneaky payday purchases?
Love always,
