If you follow me on Instagram then perhaps you might have spotted this photo which popped up! I decided to get my boyfriend a very special Christmas present this year. I have been wanting to get a puppy ever since we met and especially since we moved into this flat! I figured that she would make the perfect Christmas present even thought I know it’s a little bit early. I have already introduced her on my Instagram but I thought it was time to introduce her officially on the blog!
This is Winnie, she’s 11 weeks old and she’s a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She was the runt of the litter, weighing in at just 2kg when we got her and she is honestly the best little pup I could have asked for! At the moment we are feeding her three times a day on dry food and of course she’s having lots of treats when she is such a good girl, which she generally is! We have started puppy training indoors as I’m a bit unsure about taking her out since she hasn’t had her second vaccinations yet but she’s doing really well with it already and it’s only been a few days!
She absolutely loves to play but only for about an hour or so a day and then the rest of the times she just wants to cuddle and sleep. At the moment she spends the night time in the kitchen (because we can shut the door) with a hot water bottle and she just cuddles up and sleeps through the night. We usually get up about 6:30 and if we aren’t going to work then she will come into bed with us for another nap before we all get up and have breakfast together.
