Way back in 2017, I decided to do a ‘get to know me tag.’ Since it’s been so long and things have changed slightly, I figured I would do an updated version of the tag and share my current answers and see how much things have changed. There’s quite a few questions, so let’s get into it!
Are you named after anyone?
Nope, apparently my name has zero meaning!
When was the last time you cried?
I’m actually doing quite well considering I’m pregnant, I think it’s been about a week since I cried!
Do you have kids?
I have one fur baby and one human baby on the way! Just a couple of months to go.
If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?
I’m still not sure about this one, obviously we would have a lot in common but at the same time I think I would annoy myself too much to be friends!
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
I really don’t think I’m as sarcastic as I used to be so I would probably say no, not really.
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
Probably still tattoos, I find it’s always a good conversation starter.
What colour are your eyes?
Brown
Scary movies or happy endings?
Happy endings, completely. I love a romcom or a disney film!
Favourite smells?
In my last post I said doughnuts at the seaside or the aftershave my boyfriend wore when we first met. I think both probably still stand but I also LOVE the all those autumnal scents like pumpkin spice, cinnamon and apple pies.
What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home?
My previous answer still stands, I went to Africa quite a few years ago now.
Do you have any special talents?
Nope, although I like to consider the fact my body is growing an actual human a pretty special talent. Although since millions of women also can do this I guess it’s not too special!
Where were you born?
Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge which is where I think my baby is going to be born too, although I am looking into a home birth but I’m still not sure! Please let me know any advice or experiences with home births!
What are your hobbies?
I feel like my hobbies change on a regular basis although in my last post I said reading, bullet journalling and blogging and apart from giving up with the bullet journalling, I’m still going with the other two!
Do you have any pets?
Yes, my gorgeous fur baby, Winnie. She’s a cavalier king charles spaniel and she’s the best, cuddliest pup!
Do you have any siblings?
Yes, three older brothers and a younger sister. Also two sister-in-laws!
What do you want to be when you grow up?
God knows, will I ever grow up! I really have no idea what I want to do, the job I do now definitely isn’t what I want to do forever but it will do for now!
Who was your first best friend?
My first best friend still remains my current best friend. She’s the best and although we don’t get to see each other all that much, I love her!
How tall are you?
In my last post I guessed around 5″4 because I really didn’t know but I have just checked on my hospital app and according to the last time they measured my height I’m 5″5 so I wasn’t too far off!
Funniest moment through school?
I honestly have no idea, I’m sure there were a few but I can’t remember!
How many countries have you visited?
In my last post I had been to France, Spain, Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Tanzania and Ireland (seven) and since then I’ve also been to Copenhagen and Germany so now nine, I think!
What was your worst/favourite subject in high school?
I hated drama and loved English.
What’s your favourite drink? Animal? Perfume?
So this is definitely three questions snuck into one but I notice in my last post I clearly got distracted and only answered the first one! Drink: Malibu and coke, prosecco or fresh apple juice! Animal: dogs and monkeys. Perfume: I don’t think I have a favourite one specifically, I tend to just go with whatever I fancy at the time and that changes quite a bit!
What would you (or have you) name your children?
No idea! We have finally started narrowing it down but hopefully I can update on this one soon!
What sports have you/do you play?
Nothing! I’m not one for sports at all, a dog walk in the forest tends to be about the extent of my exercise!
What are your favourite youtubers?
I love the michalaks, love and lifestyle and of course Tom Juggins because I love him and I love getting to watch everything we have got up to during our week!
How many boyfriends/girlfriends have you had?
Three before my current who I’ve been with for almost seven years!
Favourite memory from childhood?
I honestly just can’t pick a favourite because there are so many memorable moments from my childhood.
How would you describe your fashion sense?
I have no idea, I kind of just go for whatever I’m feeling at the time.
What phone do you have?
I have a google pixel which I really like. I’m so glad I finally made the jump from an iphone.
Tell us one of your bad habits?
In my last post I said about not taking my make up off before bed however I’ve actually got so much better at this. My worst habit now is probably the amount of snacks I eat. I don’t know if it’s being pregnant or lock down or a combination but I just keep eating snacks and I know I shouldn’t but I can’t help myself!
Generally I don’t think my answers have changed massively since my last time answering these but hopefully you have enjoyed getting to know me a bit better. If you answer these questions, I’d love to see your answers!
