Saturday:
Saturday morning I had every intention to wake up early, take my boyfriend to work, come home and get loads of stuff done before I went to meet my friend. Unfortunately, I didn’t share these plans and I didn’t set my own alarm so I woke up 30 minutes before I was due to meet my friend!
When I was eventually showered, fed, dressed and ready, I headed to meet my friend. We got the train to Westfield and prepared ourselves to shop like mad women! As you might expect for the last payday before Christmas, the queues were crazy! We got so much shopping done and I had a great time chatting and perusing.
We finished up all of our shopping and we headed back to Essex to my friend’s house and we got our things ready to prepare ourselves for our brownie meeting on Thursday. We prepped some adorable snowman Christmas cards and some toilet roll ‘Santa’s elves.’
Finally, we were all ready and I headed off home to catch up on a few episodes of I’m a celebrity get me out of here!
Sunday:
Sunday I had the same plans to wake up early and get things done before going out and this time I actually managed to follow through with it! I woke up, took my boyfriend to work and came home, did the washing, wrapped up some more Christmas presents and tidied up.
I met my friends and we set off to Cambridge. Once we got there we headed to the Disney store and had a wander around the shops before we had some lunch, wandered around some more shops and stopped for a hot chocolate.
Our final destination in town was the Corn Exchange for a sing-a-long, interactive viewing of the new Beauty and the Beast film. It was 100% aimed at children but I loved it! It was so much fun. We had a great time before we headed over to my grandparent’s house for dinner and to exchange Christmas presents with my dad (super early, I know!)
